It's a new year so let's start with something new !!!
New workshop/meetup will be with Brett Sceli (Harman International & Audiokinetic). Brett will be coming down to Montreal to talk to us about Automotive sound design and his current and past experience in the field.
Our last round-table was quite popular so we thought we could do it again by replace the question period round-table session on the same subject matter. The round-table will be moderated by yours truly and Brett.

Automotive Sound Design
In this talk, Brett will give insight on his experience working in automotive sound design for Harman International and Audiokinetic. His experience covers a new area for sound in the automotive manufacturing world, specifically for electric and hybrid vehicles. He will be discussing new sound laws in place to protect pedestrians, opportunities in automotive design to apply types of creativity used in other fields, his personal experience of real-world applications, and will have an open discussion on the subject in a round-table format.

As usual we will have casual networking and drinks afterwards at Benelux on Sherbrooke near the main venue AND we will be giving away a FREE iZotope Plugin AS WELL AS a copy of BONSON Sound Effect Libraries's new library MOVES, after the round-table.

C'est une nouvelle année alors commençons par quelque chose de nouveau !!!
Nouvel atelier / rencontre avec Brett Sceli (Harman International & Audiokinetic). Brett viendra à Montréal pour nous parler de la conception audio automobile et de son expérience actuelle et passée dans le domaine.
Étant donné que la dernière table ronde a été très populaire, nous avons donc pensé que nous pourrions le faire à nouveau en remplaçant la période de questions avec une table ronde. Le tout sera donc modéré par votre moi-même ainsi que Brett.

Conception Sonore pour véhicules
Dans cette présentation, Brett donnera un aperçu de son expérience de travail dans la conception sonore automobile pour Harman International et Audiokinetic. Son expérience couvre un nouveau domaine du son dans le monde de la construction automobile, en particulier pour les véhicules électriques et hybrides. Il discutera des nouvelles lois en vigueur pour la protection des piétons, des possibilités offertes par la conception automobile d'appliquer des types de créativité utilisés dans d'autres domaines, de son expérience personnelle d'applications réelles et tiendra un débat ouvert sur le sujet en format table ronde ensuite.
Comme d'habitude, nous allons prendre un "drink" après la présentation à Benelux sur Sherbrooke, près de CIRMMT ET nous offrirons un plugin iZotope GRATUIT ainsi que la dernière librairie (MOVES) de BONSON Sound Effect librairies, à l'issue de la table ronde.
